Topography
Rolling green hills, large trees, and distinct vistas contribute to the natural beauty of the Woodhaven Neighborhood. As the topographical map shows, the area generally slopes in elevation from the southeast corner of the site toward the Trinity river to the north and northwest. Although the slope is gradual in some places, many areas of the site have sharp changes in elevation. The neighborhoods south of Randol Mill Road and the apartment complexes southeast of the Boca Raton and Oakland Hills intersection are located near these steeper areas, providing scenic views of the Trinity River, Woodhaven Country Club golf course, and Downtown Fort Worth. Some areas are too steep for development, but provide open space.
